Field Trips to the Ranch
Our Field Trips are specially crafted to engage children in active learning experiences. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore a working ranch and discover the wonders of the great outdoors. At our 4 interactive stations, you can pet a variety of animals, feed the cattle, immerse yourself in the history of a living ranch, and have fun in the Kids Korral play area, which features an exciting giant gunny sack slide.

In October, come to DD Ranch for a fun hayride to feed cows and choose pumpkins, have a blast at the Kids Korral play area, meet adorable animals at the petting zoo, and discover all about ranching and farm life from our friendly staff. Plus, every student ticket comes with a 6” pumpkin!
The Buzz at The Ranch
Spring starts mid-May with our fascinating pollinators. Join us on the ranch to get a sneak peek into a Honeybee’s life. Enjoy the education station where we discover some of the mysteries behind bees and their habits. Afterward, students will have a chance to plant a small cup-sized wildflower garden, to take home and observe the changes from seed to flower. At the end of our visit, students can take home a honey straw.
