Grass Fed and Finished Beef
DD Ranch is located in the picturesque Smith Rock area of Terrebonne, Oregon, where we produce grass-fed and grass-finished beef. The cattle are raised without hormones, antibiotic feed, or any additives. Adhering to organic standards is a top priority, guiding how the animals are cared for. The pastures remain free from chemical herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers. The cattle at the ranch are a blend of polled Hereford, Red and Black Angus, and Simmental breeds. The majority are born and raised on the ranch and spend their entire lives grazing on pasture.

Additionally, you can find us at the Bend Farmer’s Market every Wednesday from 11 am to 3 pm between May and October. WHY GRASS FED?
Grass-fed beef has more omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and CLA (a beneficial fat), and less total fat than grain-fed beef. It's also a good source of protein, vitamins A, E, and B12, and minerals like zinc, selenium, and iron. These nutrients can help reduce inflammation and may also help fight cancer. Grass-fed beef may also contain fewer bacteria that can cause food poisoning.
Grass-fed beef can also improve the soil with organic matter, help filter water, and restore local habitats. It also has a smaller impact on the environment than conventional beef, producing fewer carbon emissions and leading to better water quality and less soil erosion

HERITAGE BREED PORK
What creates content hogs? - There's nothing more delightful than a mud hole and sunshine. Our pigs enjoy basking and wallowing in spacious outdoor areas throughout the day. Traditionally, pork lard has been a major source of Vitamin D in the diet. Similar to humans, they generate Vitamin D by soaking up the sun, offering this fantastic benefit to pork consumers. Our farm raises Berkshire, Duroc, Hampshire, Blue Butt, Red Wattle, and York breeds.
GRASS FED LAMB
Our sheep are reared following the same method as our cattle - exclusively grass-fed and grass-finished, adhering to organic standards and free from any additional additives. We breed Suffolk, Hampshire, Katahdin, Dorper, and Romney varieties. Our sheep spend their entire lives grazing on pasture.
